The Blue Goose Glen Farm fibers are based around our exquisitely-fleeced Border Leicester sheep, white and natural colored.
        Our most recent Yocum-McColl micron testing indicated that our fiber ranged from 38 to 28 microns with the majority falling in the lower 30 range.  The Australian breeder reported that the micron count of both rams we use in an LAI program were "about 32 microns".  We have continued to breed for a soft, slightly fine, high luster wool on all of our Border Leicesters both white and natural colored.  Our wools are very strong, but not harsh or ????  In the spring of 2000, the first lambs from our Australian AI were born, thus continuing our committment to provide the best fibers possible.

	White Border Leicester wool blended with silk noil.  This roving comes  individually packaged in professionally processed 8-ounce bumps.  $9.95 / 8 oz. bump
	Professionally processed wool roving from our Border Leicester sheep in 8 oz. centerpull bumps.  These bumps are a cocoa color.  Available for $9.95/per bump.

	Merino-Silk Top--This is blend of 80% 22 Micron Merino and 20% Tussah Silk.  This is a very nice fiber with which to work. $14.95/8oz.
